Welcome to my blog!

It is my hope that this blog will allow me to be a little more personal than the school’s music dept. site.  I hope to offer my students information and insight about the topics we are specifically addressing in brass and percussion lessons, the MSMS Symphonic and Stage Bands, and in my Team 7A music classes.  I would love your input. Please send any suggestions on content you’d like to see to: bolduc@bpsk12.org  If you need to reach me at school, call: 781.270.2956 and leave a message.

Enjoy – Mr. Bolduc

The latest Rock death at 27: Amy Winehouse. She now joins Brian Jones (Rolling Stones), Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison (The Doors), and Kurt Cobain (Nirvana) in the “dead at 27 club”.

My all-time favorite cartoon

For those checking out the late 60′s Psychedelia stuff, here’s a lost classic. Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds from Yellow Submarine movie by the Beatles:

I’m excited to announce that I just upgraded my WordPress account so that I can insert audio clips throughout the site, allowing you to play music right from the pages without going to a box.net playlist.

  3. Thank you for this fantastic information because finding relevant sites on this topic is sometimes hard to find. You did an excellent job covering the subject and I look forward to more posts from your site. Do you offer RSS Feeds or feedburner to get more content for our blogs? I will be sure to include links from my other blogs to yours.

    • Thanks. I have several ideas for the upcoming school year. I do use Feedburner on my professional website, but I haven’t considered RSS Feeds. My focus is my music students at Marshall Simonds. If other people stumble upon our blogs and find useful information, all the better. Have a great summer!
